Thresholds that were never checked by sex
Absolute cut-offs from current radiology guidelines, each traced back to its primary source. Most of them were never analysed separately for women and men. Whether they hold equally for both is an open question.

Method
The basis is my own catalogue of 1,401 numeric thresholds in diagnostic and interventional radiology. For every value I followed the chain of citations back to the primary study. Shown here are values whose chain ends in a primary study or a consensus document and whose guideline was in force in September 2026. Every value links to its source.
"Not checked" means that the primary source contains no analysis of the threshold separately for women and men. That is not evidence that the value is wrong for either sex. It means the evidence behind it does not answer the question.
Searching, extraction and code were done with the help of AI (Claude, Anthropic). Every value is checked by a radiologist.
